Week 28!

It's hard to fathom that April is now a reality.  I cannot believe how quickly time is passing.  We've been busy and hard at work this past week in 5L. Here's some quick highlights:

*Important Information:
-Early Release: Wednesday, April 4t
-Early Release: Wednesday, April 11th
-TED TALKS: will be held on Tuesday April 17th and Wednesday April 18th in the afternoon.
-Jump Rope for Heart: Friday, April 20th

*Mantra Posters:  Here are some examples of the mantra artwork that your kids created.  The rest need to be laminated but I will post pictures soon!

*Social Studies Raps: 5D and 5L are rapping their way through the curriculum again.  Small groups chose a topic about the Revolutionary War and created a rap, complete with background music to explain the event.  Be on the lookout on SeeSaw for these!

*Ted Talks: We've been hard at work crafting our Ted Talks.  Kids have moved from the writing phase into the speaking phase of this process.  On Friday, four brave individuals performed their talk in front of two classes to get feedback.  I can't wait for you to see them!
