*Literacy:
- BOOK CLUBS wit 5D!
- Students chose their top three books choices and were placed in a book group
- Groups decided what their topics for discussion will be at weekly meetings
- We enjoyed some hot cocoa and conversation on Friday!
- Chose the side we will argue for our Ted Talks
- Worked on coming up with three powerful reasons for our arguments
- Discussed finding evidence to support each reason
*Science:
- Visited 5P, 5C and 5W to learn about water filtration, oil spill and wildfires
- Will be designing and building a water filter next week!
*Buddies:
We designed and created chairs that could support the weight of various stuffed animals!
