What a fantastic week we had! Check out some of the happenings below:
*Math: Adding and subtracting decimals using estimation and drawing pictures to help solve.
*Reading: Thinking deeply about character problems to unravel life lessons author's might want us to learn.
*Writing: Revising, conclusions, introductions and writing from one perspective
*Social Studies: Students in 5L, 5D and 5W were mixed together and split into three groups. Each group will spend three days visiting and learning about the three worlds (Africa, the Americas and Europe). Ask your child which world they started with!
*Stratham Hill Park: We spent Friday at the park completing various team building activities all while practicing having a growth mindset!
Upcoming Project: We are doing a project around Thanksgiving that involves mason jars. I have a few but we are looking for donations of any size. Please send them in if you have them. Thank you so much!
