Week 3!

Another week in 5th grade has flown by!  We launched reader's, writer's and math workshop this week, as well as had picture day and international dot day!  Here are some questions to ask your child about their week:

• How it math workshop set up? What are the different centers?
• What were some of your reading goals you made for the year?  What is your plan to achieve your goals?
• What did you write your personal narrative flash draft about?
• What did you do with the whole fifth grade during dot day?
• Tell me about the three levels of post it note thinking while reading?  Which level should you always aim for?
• What are some of the expectations of writer's workshop?
• What activities did you do with your reading buddy during the playground scavenger hunt?
• What are you learning in math right now? What is your area dream house project?
