- Assessed adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers

- We sat one on one with each student to figure out where he/she starts in the unit
- New unit officially started Thursday: multiplying and dividing fractions
- Working on a scratch project to teach a concept of math we have already learned this year

- In their Active Citizen Groups they are learning to ask questions
- Groups are researching HOT TOPIC real world issues!
- All students are looking at both sides to an issue
- Continued reading and meeting with book clubs

- We are still learning about the spheres!
- Atmosphere and Biosphere are our current spheres
- Students looked at the layers of the atmosphere
- We looked closely at all the biomes
- We will look at the geosphere and hydrosphere next week
*Choose Love
- We completed forgiveness with how to apologize
- Focused on turning negative thoughts into positive thoughts
- Discussed the definition of bullying and talked about common myths
- We began our final pillar, Compassion
