Week 9!

It's hard to believe that we just finished week nine of fifth grade!  Here's a snapshot of our week:

*Math:

• Adding and subtracting decimals with Scholastic books
• Played trashketball for unit 2 review
• Took the unit 2 Test

*Literacy:

• Worked on different types of narrative conclusions
• Finished personal narratives
• Discussed character growth/change throughout our books
• Had our final book club meeting
• Started our digital book club projects
• Wrote a quarter 1 reflection

*Social Studies:

• Presented projects in front of 40+ kids!
• Worked on reflecting about our project experience

*Social Hour:

-5D and 5L held another social hour on Thursday

-We discussed friendship,  exclusion/cliques and what is appropriate for fifth grade students

-No School November 9th and 10th
